Stewart Assigned to Jackals

Elmira Jackals News Release


The Elmira Jackals announced on Wednesday that goaltender Brian Stewart has been assigned to the club by its AHL affiliate, the Binghamton Senators. Stewart will rejoin the Jackals for practice on Thursday.

A second-year pro from Burnaby, British Columbia, Stewart is 4-2-0-0 with a .923 save percentage and a 2.74 goals-against average with Elmira this season. Stewart has not participated in a game with the B-Sens in 2011-2012.

Additionally, the Jackals loaned defenseman Mike Devin to the B-Sens for practice today. Devin will return to Elmira on Thursday.
