
Edmonton Recalls Center Milan Kytnar to the Oklahoma City Barons

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, proud ECHL affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers and San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League, announced the Oilers have recalled center Milan Kytnar (KIT-nar) from the Thunder to the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League.
Kytnar, 22, was selected by Edmonton in the fifth round (127th overall) of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft and has skated in nine games with the Thunder this season, earning five points (3g-2a), 12 penalty minutes and a +2 rating.
The 6-foot and 190 pound center was named to the Oilers roster at the two previous YoungStars Tournaments in Penticton, B.C. Last season, he skated in 78 games with Oklahoma City as a rookie, ranking seventh on the club with 29 points (13g-16a) while posting 13 goals, 35 penalty minutes and a +5 rating.
Kytnar suited up in 172 career junior games with Kelowna, Saskatoon and Vancouver of the Western Hockey League, scoring 126 points (50g-76a) while totaling 197 penalty minutes and a +28 rating. In 30 career postseason games, he racked up 19 points (6g-13a) and 41 penalty minutes.
