TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: This afternoon the Cyclones open up an eight game road trip as they visit the Toledo Walleye for the final time this year. In 2011-12, the Clones have amassed a 5-5-1 record against the Fish, but haven't won in Northwest Ohio since December 9. Coming into today's final regular season meeting, Cincinnati has an eight point edge over their I-75 rivals.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club has strung together two straight wins, including a shootout triumph last night over Chicago. They have been led on offense by Joey Martin, who has collected 41 points (18 goals, 23 assists) in 49 games. Kyle Rogers sits right behind him with 40 tallies (19 goals, 21 assists) in 58 contests. Not surprisingly, they have been two of the biggest Cyclone-killers this year; in 11 meetings with Cincinnati, Martin has notched 12 points while Rogers has nine. Defenseman Bryan Rufenach is among the top ECHL rear guards in points and goals. His 31 points rank seventh among defensemen while his 13 goals are second most. Between the pipes, Toledo has used the services of both Alec Richards and Thomas McCollum of late. Richards is 6-4-0 with a 2.78 goals-against average while McCollum has a 6-6-0-1 record with a 2.78 GAA.

About Last Night vs. Wheeling: The Cyclones enjoyed a three-goal outburst to start the third period and knocked off the Nailers by a 7-5 final score in front of 6,891 at U.S. Bank Arena. It was the third-largest crowd to witness a game at 100 Broadway this season and 16th largest in regular season franchise history. Mathieu Aubin registered his 200th point as a Cyclone in a five-point effort while Dan Eves added five points as well.

Eastern Conference Playoff Race: The top eight teams at season's end earn a Kelly Cup Playoff bid.

Short Stacks: Cincinnati remains among the league's best in both shorthanded goals-for and against. They have posted an ECHL second-most 10 shorthanded goals while allowing a league-low two goals while up a man. Dan Eves is the Cyclones leader in this category, amassing five shorthanded points this year.

The 200 Club: With a remarkable five-point night on Saturday, Cyclones captain Mathieu Aubin surpassed 200 points in his Cyclones career. He has now notched 204 points in 209 games in a Cincinnati jersey. He ranks third on the franchise larboard in points, and needs just ten more to surpass Sheldon Gorski for second all-time.
