Similar to Friday, the game started with another furious pace. However, unlike Friday, Alaska got themselves into trouble with a couple of defensive miscues. Goaltender James Reid was terrific in the period making several saves on high quality chances for the Thunder. Stockton did break through with the only goal of the period when Kevin Baker stole the puck at the Aces blue line and came in untouched on Reid. He placed a wrist shot high glove side off the bottom of the crossbar and into the net at the 6:00 mark of the period for his 23rd goal of the season. The Thunder outshot the Aces 12-8 in the period, and took a 1-0 lead into the second period.

Two late goals in the second period helped widen the gap in favor of Stockton. On a delayed penalty call against Alaska, Baker tallied his second of the night at 13:30. Mike Little partially fanned on a shot from the left circle, but Baker was set up in front of the net and redirected it past Reid to make it 2-0 Thunder. Stockton then increased their lead to 3-0 when Jordan Fulton scored on a slap shot from the left circle past the right shoulder of Reid at 17:48. The Aces outshot the Thunder 13-8 in the second period, but Stockton goaltender, Olivier Roy remained perfect through the second helping Stockton to a three-goal lead entering the third period.

Stockton added one final goal on a third period power play when Chris D'Alvise scored on a rebound at 15:06. Roy made 15 saves in the third period to finish off his fourth shutout of the season.

James Reid (1-1-1) took the loss, making 22 saves on 26 shots. Olivier Roy (13-16-5) earned the win, stopping 36 of 36 shots. The Aces power play went 0-5, while the Thunder went 1-3. The Aces outshot the Thunder 36-26 in the game.

The Aces and Thunder finish their series on Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm AKT. The Aces then come back to Alaska for their final two home games of the season on Mar. 9th and 10th.
