TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: After another exhilarating come-from-behind win last night, the Cyclones are back on the road to close out a busy week as they play back-to-back games against the Toledo Walleye. While Cincinnati has taken five of the eight meetings this year, the all-time series has been extremely close; since 2006, the Clones have amassed a 24-23-1-1 record. All the match ups this year have come down to the wire, with all but two being decided by two goals or less.

SCOUTING THE WALLEYE: Nick Vitucci's club has won two straight games, including a shootout victory in Wheeling last night. With their recent surge, they are just four points back of Cincinnati in the North Division standings but have played four additional games. Captain Kyle Rogers is the Walleye's leader on offense this season, posting 31 points (15 goals, 16 assists) in 47 contests. With Adam Estoclet out of the lineup, Harrison Reed and Joey Martin have been the biggest weapons against the Cyclones; they have each posted eight points in as many meetings. Between the pipes, Alec Richards has been a big reason for Toledo's success. He is 2-0-0 with a 1.44 goals-against average in his first two starts, including 40 saves against the Clones on Wednesday in a 2-1 win. Richards is the ninth different goalie to tend the net for Toledo in 2011-12.

About Last Night vs. Trenton: The Cyclones sparked a three-goal comeback in third period and went on to earn a 5-4 shootout win over the Titans in front of 4,496 on Pink in the Rink Night at U.S. Bank Arena. It was the second time in nine days that the Cyclones erased a three-goal deficit or greater to win a contest.

Bonus Hockey: This year, the Cyclones have 12 games decided in overtime or a shootout - which is tied for third-most among any ECHL team. While they have a 6-6 record collectively in the extra session, the Clones are a perfect 4-0 in overtime (which is the most of any team in the league). They are 2-6 in shootouts.

On the Brink of More Records: With his team-leading 13th multi-point game of the season last night, team captain Mathieu Aubin now has 252 points in his pro career and 193 in his Cyclones career. Tonight, he is playing in his 200th game with Cincinnati. He ranks third on the franchise point list (193), goals list (81), and game-winning goals list (12) while ranking second in assists (112).

Penalty Killing Prowess: Despite playing some of the better power plays in the league of late, the Clones have improved mightily on the penalty kill. They have extinguished 40 of last 45 power-plays against (88.9) and are now up to 7th in the ECHL overall with an 83.1 efficiency rate. On the year they have killed off 157 of 189 shorthanded situations. They have extinguished 25 out of 26 Toledo power plays this season.
