Tonight's Matchup:
Chicago suffered just their first loss in February and had their five game winning streak snapped at the hands of the South Carolina Stingrays last night. The Express got out to a slow start, allowing two goals in the first five minutes of the game, and faced a 2-0 deficit at the end of the first period. After the two sides traded goals in the second, C Aaron Marvin pulled the Express back to within one with a goal midway through the third. It wasn't enough, however, as the Express suffered the 3-2 loss. The Gladiators were inactive last night, and are currently first in the Eastern Conference with 62 points. The Gladiators have also won 13 straight games on home ice. Chicago has only faced Gwinnett one time this season, with the Gladiators collecting a 3-2 shootout win at the Sears Centre Arena on November 13.
