THROWBACK NIGHT / TEDDY BEAR TOSS

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP: For the first time since the 2008-09 season, the Cyclones have posted five goals or more in four straight games. Tonight, they'll look to close out the calendar year with a repeat performance as they visit the Kalamazoo Wings on New Years Eve. The Clones have gone 3-2-1 against their Mitten State rivals this season and have earned a 29-22-4-3 record all-time in ECHL play.

SCOUTING THE WINGS: Nick Bootland's club dropped a 3-2 decision last night in Toledo and remain eight points behind the Cyclones in the North Division standings. Yanni Gourde, despite going pointless last night, has continued to pace the Wings on offense all season long. In 27 games this year, he has amassed 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists). Eric Kattelus, who has notched five goals and four assists against Cincinnati in the season series, ranks second on the team overall with 26 tallies in 26 contests. Joel Martin and Jordan Binnington have shared the workload for the Wings between the pipes. Martin has collected an 5-5-0-2 record with an 2.63 goals-against average while Binnington has gone 9-6-0 with a 2.18 GAA - good for the 5th best mark in the ECHL active goaltenders.

Goin' Streakin: The Cyclones have been on an offensive tear of late. Barry Almeida, Jack Combs, Jonathan Hazen, Trevor Lewis, and Brett Wysopal are all riding three game point streaks heading into tonight.

Road Warriors: The Cyclones remain among the best in the ECHL when playing away from home. Their 11-3-0-1 record has garnered the fourth most points (23) of any team in the league. Their 63 road goals rank second most.

Racking Up Shots: One reason for the Cyclones recent offensive surge has to do with its shots-on-goal numbers. They've had 36 shots or more in three straight games and are now averaging 31.12 shots per game - good for 11th in the ECHL.
