Road Warriors Acquire Forward Scott Arnold

Greenville, SC: The Greenville Road Warriors, proud ECHL affiliate of the New York Rangers, announced the team has acquired Scott Arnold from the Toledo Walleye in exchange for Brett Perlini.

Arnold, 24, ranks tied for third on the Walleye with seven goals in 25 games played. He is also ranked fifth on the team with 12 points. The Montreal, Quebec native played with the Gwinnett Gladiators for the majority of last season. Arnold skated in 32 games with the Gladiators and scored eight goals and 12 assists.

"Scott gives us more depth as a versatile forward and has the ability to fit into a scoring role," Head Coach Dean Stork commented. "His speed and grit make him a great addition to our team."

Perlini, 23, appeared in 17 games with the Road Warriors this season. The Michigan State product scored two goals and three assists in his time with Greenville. Last season, Perlini played in 39 games with the Condors while registering seven goals and 13 assists.

The Road Warriors begin 2014 with a Friday night game against the Florida Everblades at 7 p.m. The first 1,000 fans will receive a Road Warriors' pillow case presented by Fox Carolina and B93.7! The ABC Party Rentals' Warriors Fan Fest begins at 5 p.m.! Fans can get three mini Italian meatball subs for $5. Fans can also enjoy 2 for 1 domestic beers and Mike's Hard Lemonade The ABC Party Rentals' Warrior Fan Fest will take place on the Plaza until 7 p.m.
