Cyclones Announce 2003-04 Roster

Cincinnati, OH-Cincinnati Cyclones coach and general manager Chris Cichocki announced today that the team has set its roster for the beginning of the 2003-04 season. Included amongst the 20 players on the roster are 12 forwards, six defensemen and two goaltenders.

Returnees from last year's squad include center Mike Casselman, right winger Jason Norrie and center Garrett Prosofsky. Goaltender Randy Petruk is also returning to Cincinnati after the last two seasons in Florida of the ECHL and Lowell of the American Hockey League.

Center Terry Marchant, defenseman Dean Stork and center Jeremy Bachusz all follow coach Cichocki to Cincinnati after playing last season in Arkansas (ECHL).

Seven members of the current roster come to Cincinnati after playing elsewhere in the ECHL or AHL. Defenseman Reagan Rome, forward Mark Concannon, defenseman Ryan Brindley, forward Jeff Worlton, defenseman Josh Harrold, right winger Fraser Clair and goalie Trevor Prior will all be continuing their pro careers in Cincinnati this year.

Six players will make their pro debuts on Friday against Peoria. Defenseman Aaron MacInnis, forward Mike Murray, defenseman John Cronin, center Brian Passmore, center Connor Dunlop and right winger Michael Chin will all start their careers in Cyclones uniforms.

Opening night for the new Cincinnati Cyclones is October 17th vs. the Peoria Rivermen.
