Wranglers\' Mascot to make first public appearance at Bite of Las Vegas

Las Vegas, NV- With the home opener just days away, the Wranglers have been keeping busy in the month of October, visiting charitable and business functions all over the valley. This weekend, the Wranglers will have a booth at the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk in Summerlin, and will also be making an appearance at the Bite of Las Vegas at Desert Breeze Park on October 25th.

The Wranglers inflatable Slap Shot game, sponsored by Dr Azimi, will be a featured attraction at the Kids Zone at the Memory Walk on Saturday morning at the Hills Park in Summerlin. The walk begins at 7am and the festivities will continue until noon. The Bite of Las Vegas, in its seventh year, is a food and music festival held at Desert Breeze Park on Spring Mountain and Durango. The Wranglers Slap Shot game will be on display for participants to test their hockey skills, and the Wrangler mascot will make his first ever public appearance to entertain the families in attendance. The festival runs from 11am-9:30pm, and admission is $5.

Last weekend, the Wranglers' Slap Shot game appeared at the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's Walk for the Cure at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, and later that day, at the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Light the Night Walk at Wayne Bunker Park.

The Wranglers open their inaugural season on the road October 17 in Boise, ID with three straight games against the Idaho Steelheads. Las Vegas will return home for Opening Night at the Orleans Arena on Tuesday, October 21 against Bakersfield.

Wranglers' individual game seats are on sale now. Wranglers' ticket locations are the Orleans Arena Box Office, Coast Casinos' showroom box offices at The Orleans, Gold Coast and Suncoast, or at the Boulevard, Galleria or Meadows Malls guest relations/ticket centers.
