Cyclones Introduce Mark Mills as Assistant General Manager

Cincinnati, OH-The Cincinnati Cyclones are proud to announce that Mark Mills has been named Assistant General Manager of Hockey Operations. Mills' role with the organization will include assisting G.M. / Head Coach Chris Cichocki in the day-to-day operation of the team.

Mills has been a member of the Cyclones organization since the 1994-95 season. During his ten years with the club, Mills has served as equipment manager. Prior to joining the Clones, Mills worked for the Birmingham Bulls of the ECHL from 1992-94.

In his new role, Mills will be responsible for handling player immigration paperwork, making travel arrangements, scheduling practice times and arranging player housing. Mills will also continue to oversee equipment operations.

"I'm happy to take on a new role with the team," said Mills. "This is a chance for me to take on more of a managerial role, and I'm looking forward to the challenge.

"Mark will continue to be an integral part of our team," said Cyclones coach Chris Cichocki. "He was here when I was a player and an assistant coach. He has a lot of hockey experience and that will be a huge asset to the entire organization.

Opening night for the new Cincinnati Cyclones is October 17th vs. the Peoria Rivermen.
