In the longest game of the young 2016 Crosscutters season, Luke Maglich's RBI single into center field scored Rodolfo Duran and gives the Cutters a walk off win in the 13th Williamsport starter Adonis Medina tossed 6.2 innings of shutout baseball, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out four while factoring in a no-decision.
Will Hibbs, Jeff Singer and Geury Ortiz would combine for 6.2 innings of shutout relief, as Ortiz would work the final two innings en route to his first win of the season.
Mahoning Valley got an strong start from Micah Miniard, who finished with six shutout innings, allowing three hits, a walk and striking out four Crosscutters while taking a no-decision.
Despite scoring one run, Williamsport recorded 11 hits and stranded seven runners on base.
