HARRISBURG, Pa. - Altoona slugged three home runs with 10 hits on Tuesday night, but the Harrisburg Senators hit three home runs of their own as the teams combined for 23 hits in a Curve loss, 6-5, at FNB Field.

Altoona climbed out to an early 3-0 lead in the second inning off Harrisburg starter Cole Henry. Fresh off the injured list, Connor Scott slugged a two-run home run to right field before Jackson Glenn later scored on a double-play groundout with the bases loaded. It was the second home run of the season for Scott.

Later in the fifth inning, Chavez Young hit his first home run with Altoona, a solo shot in the fifth inning off reliever Lucas Knowles to make it a 4-3 game. Mason Martin hit his 16th home run of the season in the eighth on a solo shot off reliever Odalvi Javier. It was his fourth home run this season against the Senators at FNB Field.

Harrisburg responded to Altoona's early three-run frame with a three-run home run from Jacob Young in the third inning off Aaron Shortridge. Shortridge would allow three home runs in the contest, matching his career-high for the second start in a row. He gave up six runs on 11 hits in 5.1 innings pitched.

Lusius Fox hit a solo home run to lead off the bottom of the fifth inning to respond to the shot from Young and tie the game 4-4. Trey Lipscomb hit his fifth home run of the season in the sixth inning before Fox executed a perfect squeeze to score a runner from third and reach safely at first base, making it a 6-4 game.

Mike Jarvis had his first multi-hit game at the Double-A level, finishing 2-for-5 with a pair of singles. Matt Fraizer added two hits in the loss for the Curve. Geronimo Franzua tossed 1.2 scoreless innings of relief before Grant Ford worked a scoreless eighth inning for the Curve.
