The Harrisburg Senators used three home runs to beat the Altoona Curve 6-5 Tuesday night at FNB Field. Altoona took an early 3-0 scoring three times in the second inning before the Sens bounced back with three in the bottom of the third. The teams traded solo home runs in the fifth to knot the game at four. Harrisburg took their first lead of the night with two runs in the sixth inning. Altoona scored a run in the eighth and had the tying run at second when the game ended.

The Big Play

Jacob Young hit a three-run home run in the third inning with no outs to tie the game at three.

On Capitol Hill

Cole Henry was the first of five pitchers for the Senators. Henry went 1.0 inning and faced five batters in the second inning before leaving the game... Lucas Knowles was outstanding, going four inning and allowing just a run on two hits... Nash Walters earned the win in his first Senators appearance going two scoreless innings... Odalvi Javier pitched the eighth inning and allowed a run on two hits... Tyler Schoff allowed two hits but no runs in earning his third save with the Senators.

Lucius Fox had three hits including his first home run as a member of the Senators... Jacob Young had a single along with his three-run home run... James Wood had two doubles... Robert Hassell III had two hits including a double... Trey Lipscomb hit a solo home run.

Filibusters

Harrisburg snapped their three-game losing streak with the win... The Senators turned five double plays, including in the eighth and ninth innings to preserve the win... The time of the game was 2:33... The attendance was 3,686.
