The last homestand of the season is packed to the brim with fun with the appearance of Pascal Dupuis and hockey jersey auction on Friday, back-to-back fireworks shows on Saturday and Sunday and the final game of the season during the sunny hours on Labor Day.

Everything gets started on Friday night when the Akron Aeros, affiliates of the Cleveland Indians are in town. Gates for the 7 p.m. game will swing open at 5 p.m. for a pregame performance by John Stiffler on the Rocky Gap Casino and Resort Entertainment Deck from 5 p.m.-6:30 p.m.

In honor of Dupuis being in the house, the Curve will be wearing hockey-themed jerseys that will be auctioned off during the game as part of an in-game silent auction with proceeds from the auction benefitting Be the Match, a national marrow donor program that matches up patients with their donor match for a life-saving marrow transplant. The organization was chosen to help support Dierdre Johnson, wife of former Curve and current West Virginia Power pitching coach Jeff Johnson, who is fighting the battle against breast cancer.

The Gift Card Grab which allows a select number of fans to run into the outfield following the game and grab as many gift cards as they can will also be held on Friday night along with the final Silver Steamers Club Game presented by Homewood Retirement Centers at Martinsburg and Everett.
