
Curtin Named ECHL Player of the Week

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. â The Atlantic City Boardwalk Bullies of the ECHL have announced that forward Luke Curtin is this week's InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week. The announcement was made earlier this afternoon by the ECHL.
Curtin, 26, tallied 4 goals and 4 assists, and recorded three consecutive multiple point games in leading the Bullies to a 3-0 record last week. The St Paul, MN native has been on a tear as of late with 21 points (10 goals, 11 assists) over the Bullies current 11-game unbeaten streak in regulation. He has scored in 9 out of the last 11 games with multiple points in 8 of those contests.
Over his last 16 games, Curtin has an astronomical 30 points on 12 goals and 18 assists. Curtin leads the Bullies with 19 goals and 24 assists. His 43 points put him in a three-way tie for eighth in the ECHL scoring race with Mississippi's Louis Dumont and Wheeling's JF Dufour.
Curtin becomes the second Bully to be awarded Player of the Week honors and the third to be acknolowedged by the ECHL overall. Jim Henkel was named the InGlasCo ECHL Player of the Week for the opening week of the season after registering 4 goals and 2 assists in the Bullies first two games. Rookie Sam Paolini was honored as the CCM ECHL Rookie of the Month for October with 12 points in 7 games.
