
Limpright Added to All-Star Team

ROANOKE, VA â Roanoke Express winger Shawn Limpright has been added as a replacement to the Eastern Conference All-Star team for the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All-Star Game. Limpright will take the spot of Express center Dan Carlson. Carlson, who was voted to be a starter, and would have been appearing in his first all-star game, is currently on call-up with the Lowell Lock Monsters of the American Hockey League.
In his second professional season, Limpright is second on the team with 35 points (18g, 17a) in 27 games with the Express this season, and leads the team with nine power play goals. The 22-year-old native of St. Adolphe, Manitoba is currently on call-up with the Syracuse Crunch of the AHL, where he has picked up two points in five games, but will be allowed to leave the team to participate in the All-Star Game.
The 12th Annual ECHL All-Star Game and Skills Competition will be held at Carver Arena at the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, IL. The Skills Competition will be held on Tuesday, January 20 and the All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, January 21 at 8:30 p.m. EST.
The Roanoke Express returns to action at the Roanoke Civic Center on Sunday, January 25 at 4:00 p.m. when it hosts the Reading Royals and again on Tuesday, January 27 at 7:00 p.m. to host the Greenville Grrrowl. For group or season ticket information call (540) 343-4500.
