
CSS/ 950 AM to air All Star Game Live

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC The South Carolina Stingrays announced today that the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All Star Game will air live on CSS on Wednesday, January 26th at 7:00. Live local radio coverage will begin at the same time on 950 AM The Team. Stingrays Mark Ardelan and Joe Tenute will be taking part in this season's All Star Game in Reading, Pennsylvania. An All-Star viewing party is slated for Manny's Greek American Neighborhood Grill in West Ashley, on Wednesday Night as well.
Comcast Sports Southeast (CSS) will run the game live on Wednesday, January 26th at 7:00 and have a replay on Thursday, at 12:30 PM eastern time.
The ECHL is the premier AA hockey league in North America. CSS can be picked up in nine of the league's markets including Greenville, Pee Dee, Charleston, Columbia, Augusta, Florida, Mississippi, Gwinnett and Pensacola. This year marks the 13th year for the ECHL All Star Game.
The game can be heard live on the radio on Kirkman Broadcasting's AM 950 The Team.
"This is the third season that the radio broadcast of the All Star Game can be heard live in Charleston," said Stingrays Director of Broadcasting Darren Abbott. "Our relationship with Kirkman Broadcasting has never been better. They have been instrumental in getting this game on the air."
The Stingrays are hosting an All Star viewing party on Wednesday evening at Manny's Greek American in West Ashley. The party will feature half price pizza and drink specials for Stingrays Fans. Jason Fitzsimmons will be on hand and Rich Peverley and Aaron Power will be guest bartenders.
