
ECHL All-Star Game to be Broadcast Live on Insight Communications

Peoria, Ill. (January 25, 2005) âPresident/General Manager Bart Rogers of the Peoria Rivermen of the ECHL announced today that the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game will be televised LIVE on Insight Communications.
The live TV broadcast, which begins at 6:05 p.m. CT, will be carried on Insight Communications Channel 44 in Peoria, Channel 5 in Bloomington-Normal and Channel 74 in Pekin, Morton & Galesburg. Reading's John Curtis will serve as the play-by-play talent, while Las Vegas broadcaster Josh Fisher will serve as a roving reporter. Neil Smith, former New York Rangers president & general manager and current analyst with TSN and the NHL Network, will serve as the color analyst for the broadcast.

On Friday, January 28, the Rivermen welcome the San Diego Gulls to Carver Arena for the first time in their ECHL membership. Game time is 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, January 29, Peoria battles the archrival Toledo Storm at Carver Arena. Game time is 8:00 p.m. It is Caterpillar Night. The first 2,500 fans will receive a CD holder, courtesy of Caterpillar. It is also a Kaufman Wellness Center Night. Fans may receive a free spinal check and back massage for a $10 donation to the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
