ECHL All-Star game broadcast live locally

BOISE, Idaho - The Idaho Steelheads are proud to announce the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star game, being played in Reading, Pennsylvania, will be aired live locally tomorrow night (Wednesday, January 26th) at 4:45 p.m. MT on:

· Television - Cable One Channel 17

· Radio - ESPN Radio 1350 KTIK The Ticket

· Online - Via www.ECHL.com

The ECHL, in association with Yahoo! Broadcast, is also making the telecast available online with live broadband video for the third year in a row. The live broadcast video requires a minimum connection speed of 100 Kbytes and Real Player. Dial-up customers will be able to listen to the radio broadcast on Yahoo! Broadcast, marking the seventh consecutive year that Yahoo! has carried the ECHL All-Star Game audio broadcast live on the Internet.

This year's events will feature the National Conference battling the American Conference in both the Skills Competition on January 25th and the All-Star Game on Wednesday, January 26th at the Sovereign Center, home of the Reading Royals.

Idaho Steelheads goaltender Frank Doyle (15-8-2) has been selected by ECHL coaches, players and media representatives to represent the National Conference in the 2005 Coors Light ECHL All-Star Game as the lone Steelhead. Last season, goaltender Dan Ellis and defenseman David Cornacchia represented Idaho.

The Steelheads return to the ice following the All-Star break with a three-game series in Alaska beginning Friday night.
