Crunch Zamboni up for Auction on eBay

Syracuse, NY (January 17, 2003) – The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have put one of their zamboni's up for auction on the popular website www.ebay.com.

Still in working condition, and one of the Crunch's original zamboni's, the machine was built between 1972 – 1976. It is a Model #HDB 1827. The washer tank is rusted, but could be replaced. The conditioner tank was replaced with a stainless steel tank. There are three (3) blades for the machine (4''), (4-1/4'') and a brand new 5'' blade. The tires are in average condition with worn studs. The machine was last used at a Crunch game during the 2001-02 season.

Syracuse returns to action tonight, facing off against the Norfolk Admirals at 7:30 p.m. at The Scope. Game action can be heard on 620 WHEN AM with Crunch play-by-play man Bob McElligott. Syracuse returns home on January 24 for Fox 68, 93Q American Idol and Powerade Cap Night against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and January 25 for Time Warner SpongeBob SquarePants Night against the Albany River Rats.
