Bulldogs Have Point Streak Snapped

The Hamilton Bulldogs had their 25 game consecutive game points streak snapped on Friday night as they dropped a 4-1 decision to the Saint John Flames in front of 5,411 fans at Copps Coliseum.

Despite the loss the Bulldogs remain first overall in the AHL with a record of 33 wins, 7 losses, 3 ties and 3 overtime losses. Friday's loss was the first time Hamilton had a loss in regulation time since November 24th.

Scoring the lone Bulldogs goal on the night, was Bill Lindsay, his first ever with the Bulldogs. The Flames had goals from Jamie Wright (2), Martin Sonnenberg and Ladislav Kohn.

Ty Conklin stopped 32 shots in the loss for the Bulldogs. Lavente Szuper made 21 saves for the Flames.

The Hamilton Bulldogs will look to rebound on Saturday as they host the Flames for a 2:00 p.m. matinee game at Copps Coliseum.
