Crunch Assign Goaltender Dan Taylor

Syracuse, NY (February 27, 2010) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have assigned goaltender Dan Taylor to Gwinnett (ECHL).

Taylor, 23, has appeared in four games for the Crunch this season, going 1-1-0 with a 3.66 goals against average and.870 save percentage. He picked up his first win as a member of the Crunch, also his first AHL victory since February 24, 2009, by stopping 26 of 28 shots in Syracuse's 3-2 win over Lake Erie on February 26.

In addition, Taylor has skated in 30 games for Gwinnett this year, going 14-11-4 with a 3.45 goals against average and.904 save percentage. A native of Plymouth, England, Taylor was signed by the Crunch to an AHL contract on October 1, 2009.
