Crunch Announce Roster Moves

Syracuse, NY (March 11, 2012) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that the Anaheim Ducks have reassigned goaltender Marco Cousineau from the Allen Americans (CHL) to the Crunch. Additionally, the Crunch have recalled forward John Kurtz from the Elmira Jackals (ECHL).

Cousineau has a 15-4-4-0 record in 24 games with the Americans. The St. Lazare, Quebec, native has a 2.55 GAA and .918 save percentage. Cousineau, has played in six games for the Crunch this year, including his AHL debut in the Syracuse Crunch's 5-2 win over the Binghamton Senators on January 13, 2012.

Kurtz has eight points (3g, 5a) in 19 games with the Jackals this season. The Oakville, Ontario, native has played in 61 career games for the Crunch including six during the 2011-12 season. The Crunch signed Kurtz to an AHL contract on December 6, 2011.
