Bacon Bits:

Right Off Their Backs: Tonight marks the IceHogs 13th Annual Jersey Auction night for charity. The IceHogs will be wearing special jerseys that will be auctioned off following the game. Rockford is 8-4-0-0 all-time on jersey auction night, but have dropped their last three. In 12 prior jersey auctions, the IceHogs and their generous fans have raised $613,579 for local charities.

Filling In The Gaps: Last night's lineup for Rockford was missing seven of the team's top 11 scorers on the season, but marked the first time in 23 games in which the team tallied more than three goals in a game dating back to Jan. 8 (6-5 OTW at Texas). In those 23 games, however, Rockford was 13-7-1-2.

And The Gap Fillers Were...: Entering play last night, Chris DiDomenico, Brandon Svendsen and Philippe Paradis had a combined four goals on the season. The trio scored Rockford's first three markers in their 4-1 win over Milwaukee. For DiDomenico, the lamp lighter was his first since Opening Night on Oct. 8. Paradis' last marker came on Jan. 13 while Svendsen last found the back of the net on Jan. 16.

Speaking Of Svendsen: Svendsen also added an assist last night for his second multi-point game of the season with Rockford, the last coming on Feb. 24 at Chicago. His second goal of the year also resulted in his second game-winning tally with his last coming on Jan. 16 in Rockford's 2-0 win over the Texas Stars.

All Good In The Valley: Winger Marc-Olivier Vallerand notched his first career AHL"ˆpoint last night in Milwaukee, helping on Paradis' third period strike. Vallerand has appeared in four games with Rockford this season and two more with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The second year pro has 27g-23a-50pts in 54 games with the ECHL's Greenville Road Warriors.

ECHL"ˆFlavor: Of the 20 players who suited up for the IceHogs last night, nine of them have spent time in the ECHL this season. That number doesn't include David Gilbert, recalled from the Toledo Walleye on Friday, who was a healthy scratch. Five of Rockford's eight points last night were notched by players who spent time in the ECHL. The eight players include six from Toledo (Ben Youds, Carter Hutton, DiDomenico, Simon Danis-Pepin, Byron Froese, Rob Flick and Paul Zanette), one from the Kalamazoo Wings (Svendsen) and one from Greenville (Vallerand).

One Is A Lonely Number: Last night's 4-1 win over Milwaukee marked the fifth straight game in which Hutton and the IceHogs have held the Admirals to just one goal. In those five games, Hutton has a .968 save percentage to go along with a 0.987 goals against average. Milwaukee tallied seven times on Rockford on Dec. 26 and a combined list 14 tallies their first three games against the IceHogs.

Lucky 7s: Rockford matched a team season high last night with a point in their seventh straight game (6-0-0-1) dating back to Feb. 24. The IceHogs also ripped off a 6-0-0-1 streak from Jan. 16 to Jan. 28. Hutton has been in goal for all seven of those games during Rockford recent hot streak and has a 1.11 goals against average with a .961 save percentage. Overall, Hutton is 16-8-0-3 with a 2.45 GAA with a .917 SPCT in 30 appearances with Rockford.
