
Crawford Added to Team Ontario Roster for ADT Challenge

(Saginaw, MI) The Saginaw Spirit Hockey Club is pleased to announce that defenseman Nick Crawford has been added to the roster for the 2008 ADT Canada-Russia Challenge. The 1990-born defenseman will represent Team Ontario in the upcoming tournament which is used to evaluate players for the Canadian World Junior Hockey Team. Crawford will join fellow Spirit blueliner T.J. Brodie in the tournament.
âWe are excited for Nick and the opportunity he has been given," stated Spirit Director of Hockey Operations and Head Coach Todd Watson, "He deserves this opportunity and we know that he will proudly represent Saginaw and the Ontario Hockey League."
Crawford is a third year veteran of the Spirit, having tallied 6 goals and 33 assists in his OHL regular season career. He has posted 1 goal and 10 assists in 16 games this season. The Caledon, Ontario native is a 2008 draft pick of the NHL Buffalo Sabres.
