Shipley was selected in the first round (3rd overall) in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection and has had a solid start to his OHL career. In 19 games played, the Ilderton, ON. native has scored 4 times while picking up 4 assists to go along with a responsible 4 penalty minutes. During his Minor Midget season with the Elgin Middlesex Chiefs, Shipley scored 53 goals while racking up 51 assists in only 63 games played. The 6'02 power forward stated that, "It's an honor and privilege to be selected to represent my province and play with all of these great players. I look forward to the challenge and bringing home a gold medal for team Ontario."

Cutting was selected in the 4th round (64th overall) in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection and has turned heads since showing up at Attack Training Camp in August. After missing most of the 2007/2008 season with a broken leg, Cutting returned to the North Central Predators Minor Midget team to tally 3 goals and 12 assists in only 22 games. During his rookie season in the OHL, Cutting has managed to grab 7 assists in 17 games while often playing against the opposition team's first two lines. "This is a huge surprise, to be honest." stated the Bracebridge, ON. native. "I worked really hard after breaking my leg to get into the OHL and really wasn't expecting this. This is an unbelievable honor for me."

The Attack would like to congratulate both Steven and Keevin on this incredible accomplishment.
