
Christian Thomas Named To Team Ontario

LONDON, ONTARIO: The London Knights are pleased to announce that Right Winger Christian Thomas has been named to the Ontario Under 17 Team that will take part in the 2009 World Under 17 Hockey Challenge being held in Port Alberni, British Columbia.
Thomas was the Knights 1st Round Selection ( 13th Overall ) at the 2008 Ontario Hockey League Draft. Thomas was a member of the Toronto Marlboros Minor Hockey Organization in 2007-2008. He led the 1992 Toronto Marlies to the OHL Cup Final where they were runner's up to the OHL Cup Champion Toronto Jr. Canadiens. Thomas joins former London Knights such as Rick Nash ( 2001 ), Corey Perry ( 2002 ), Dylan Hunter ( 2002 ), Danny Syvret ( 2002 ), Kyle Quincey ( 2002 ), Steve Ferry ( 2005 ), Jason Guy ( 2005 ), Sam Gagner ( 2006 ), and Michael Zador ( 2008 ) who are just a few of the Knights to play for Team Ontario.
