Coyotes Re-Assign Redenbach To Rampage

SAN ANTONIO (December 17, 2007) - The Phoenix Coyotes re-assigned center Tyler Redenbach to the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes' top minor league affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL), today.

Redenbach, 23, currently leads the Central Hockey League in scoring with 44 points (12goals, 32 assists) and has a league-best 21-game point streak with the Arizona Sundogs. The third-year pro from Melville, Saskatchewan has also appeared in one game this season with the Rampage.

Redenbach posted 20 points (6g, 14a) in 30 games with the Rampage last season after being re-acquired from the Boston Bruins organization on Nov. 14, 2006.

After signing as a free agent with Boston on Sept. 7, 2005, the 6-foot, 195-pound forward had 58 points (26g, 32a) in a team-leading 78 games played as a rookie with Boston's AHL affiliate in Providence in 2005-06. He also led the team with a plus-19 rating.

Selected by Phoenix in the third round (77th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, Redenbach won the Bob Clarke Trophy as the Western Hockey League's top scorer and was selected to the 2003-04 WHL Second All-Star Team, registering 105 points (31g, 74a) in 71 games with the Swift Current Broncos.
