Portland Pirates News Release
After back to back wins this weekend, the Pirates look to extend their winning streak on Tuesday night as they travel to Orono to play a home game in Alfond Arena at the University of Maine in Orono, ME. The game between the Pirates and the Monarchs is presented by Maine Savings. Game time is set for 7:05 p.m. Tickets are on still on sale for just $17.00. Tickets can be purchased by calling the UMaine Box Office at (207) 581-BEAR or 1-800-756-TEAM.
Fans can also purchase tickets and ride on a Pirates Fan Bus from Portland to Orono for $40.00 ($35.00 for Pirates Season Ticket Holders), and $23.00 for just the bus transportation. To purchase bus tickets, fans can call the Pirates office at (207) 828-4665 ext. 350 to make reservations. The fan bus leaves at 3:00 p.m. The bus for corporate sponsors departs at 3:45 p.m. Both buses will leave from the Cumberland County Civic Center. The parking garage at the Civic Center will stay open until 2 a.m. to accommodate fans on the two buses.

Wednesday, December 19
Pirates goalie Mike McKenna will be at Funtown Splashtown on Route One in Saco from 3-5 p.m. selling season's passes to the park. Pirates players Mike Hoffman and Brian Salcido will be at Bob's Discount Furniture in South Portland from 4-6 p.m. to support the WJBQ Blood Drive. Thursday, December 20
Pirates players Brian Salcido and Mike Hoffman will be on WJBQ 97.9 FM at 8:10 a.m. with Meredith, Jeff and Lori to talk about the Pirates upcoming home games. The players will also be on WBLM 102.9 FM at 8:30 a.m. with "The Captain" and Celeste.
Portland Pirates players will be delivering gifts to families in need in conjunction with the Salvation Army. The players will be bringing toys and other presents to local families in need
Pirates players Shane Hynes and Mike Hoffman will be at the Maine Mall at the Maine Lottery table from 5-7 p.m. Fans can stop by the table and win great prizes.
