Countdown to Face-Off

It will be the start of a home-and-home series featuring division rivals this evening, as the Kalamazoo Wings host the Toledo Walleye at Wings Stadium. Kalamazoo leads the season series over Toledo with a record of 4-2-0-0.

Kalamazoo enters tonight looking to extend a five-game (3-0-1-1) unbeaten streak. This evening will also conclude a three-game home stand for the K-Wings, who will begin a four-game road tomorrow night in Toledo.

Wrapping up a three-game road swing, the Walleye are hoping to snap two streaks. Toledo enters tonight winless in their last three games and winless in their last four road contests. After this evening, the Walleye will return home to face the K-Wings tomorrow and then head out for two more games on the road.

Roster Moves

Earlier today, the K-Wings made a few roster moves. The K-Wings have activated Sam Ftorek from the IR, while moving Eric Kattelus to the 7-Day IR and placing Prab Rai on the 3-Day IR.

Taylor Made

For the third-time this season, forward Justin Taylor recorded two goals in a single game last Wednesday. The multi-goal performance by Taylor was the team's 21st this season and it marked the first time this season that member of the K-Wings scored multiple power-play goals in a game.

Winning the Close Ones

So far this season, the K-Wings have been able to win the close games. Kalamazoo is 10-4-2-3 in games decided by a single goal.

The K-Wings are heading into tonight on a roll. Kalamazoo is unbeaten in regulation in their last five games (3-0-1-1).
