For the sixth time this season, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates against the Elmira Jackals. On the season, Kalamazoo is 3-2-0-0 versus Elmira and is 1-1-0-0 in games played at Wings Stadium. After today, the two teams will square off three more times, including once more at Wings Stadium.
After losing 4-3 last night to the Cincinnati Cyclones at the U.S. Bank Arena, Kalamazoo returns home to commence a season-long seven-game home stand. The K-Wings enters the afternoon in third place in the North Division, three points behind the Cyclones.
This afternoon will wrap up a three-game road swing for the Jackals. Despite wrapping up the trip, Elmira will still have to get use to life on the road. After playing two games at home next week, The Jackals will begin a season-long six-game west-coast road swing. Elmira enters today on a three-game losing streak.
