Reign Drop Game To Thunder, 4-1

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL's Los Angeles Kings, lost 4-1 to the Stockton Thunder before 9,482 at Stockton Arena Saturday night.

Scoring was light in the first forty minutes of play, as Jim Mckenzie put the Thunder up 1-0 at 5:31 of the first period and Luke Beaverson fired a shot through traffic to tie the game at one at 12:53 of the second period.

However, Stockton recorded goals by Craig Valette, Jesse Gimblett and Jarrett Konkle in the third period to beat Ontario 4-1.

Mike Zacharias made 30 saves in his Reign debut, while Bryan Pitton stopped 14 shots.
