Countdown to Face-Off: K-Wings vs Walleye

Starting a home-and-home series versus the Toledo Walleye, the Kalamazoo Wings will remain home at Wings Stadium for the 2nd Annual Susan G. Komen Game, presented by Consumers Energy. So far this season, Kalamazoo is 5-3-1-0 overall against Toledo and 2-2-0-0 in games held at Wings Stadium.

Winless in their last two games, tonight is the final home game in the month of February for the K-Wings. After this evening, Kalamazoo will play seven out of their next eight on the road, which includes a five-game road swing that will commence tomorrow in Toledo.

In second place in the North Division, the Walleye enter Wings Stadium four points behind the division-leading Cincinnati Cyclones. On the season, Toledo is 15-11-0-1 away from the Huntington Center. The 15 road wins ties the Walleye for the second-most in the ECHL.

Kalamazoo's Brett Lysak had nine shots in last night's 4-3 loss to the Trenton Titans. The nine shots on net are a season-high for Kalamazoo.

Feels Like the First Time Forward Wesley Myron earned his first two points in his pro career last night. Myron recorded two assists last night against the Titans.

My Favorite Martin Goaltender Joel Martin is closing in a personal milestone. Martin needs one more win to reach 200 in his career.
