
Stingrays Game Preview: Stingrays Open Weekend Series vs. Orlando Tonight

North Charleston, S.C. - The South Carolina Stingrays open a three-game weekend series against the Orlando Solar Bears tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida. Listen to all the action live at StingraysHockey.com! Tonight is the sixth of eight scheduled meetings between the two teams this season.
Yesterday, defenseman Ryan Button was recalled to the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) and forward Matt Beca was called up to the Charlotte Checkers (AHL).
Button, 21, appeared in one game with the Stingrays recording no points. The Edmonton, Alberta, native dressed in 23 games with the Bruins this season adding no points and 15 penalty minutes.
Beca, 26, has 10 points (five goals, five assists) in 11 games with the Stingrays. A product of Mississauga, Ontario, Beca has one assist in seven games with the Checkers.
The Stingrays continue a three-game road trip against the Solar Bears Saturday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. at the Amway Center and return to the Coliseum on Friday, February 22 for the Dog Days of Winter against the Gwinnett Gladiators at 7:05 p.m. Bring your dog to the game!
