TONIGHT:

The Ontario Reign (35-11-2-2=74 points) will play the Stockton Thunder (24-20-5-4=57 points) at Stockton Arena for just the second time this season. In their first meeting - the Reign's season opener, Ontario beat Stockton 2-1. When the teams returned home for the Reign's Home Opener, the Reign was shut out 4-0. Stockton was the first team to shut the Reign out this season, only to be joined by Utah in a 3-0 loss on Feb. 2.

HOW THEY RANK:

The Reign are first in the Pacific Division, second in the Western Conference, and second in the league. The Thunder are second in the Pacific Division, fourth in the Western Conference, and tenth in the league.

The Reign and Aces both clinched a playoff berth in 49 games to tie each other for the second fastest clinched berth in ECHL history. The ECHL record belongs to the Texas Wildcatters, a previous Reign organization, who clinched a playoff berth in 48 games back in 2008.

ONTARIO REIGNS OVER THE PACIFIC:

The Reign have a strong 2012-13 record of 35-11-2-2 so far this season, but their division record is what has propelled them into their season success. Against Pacific Division teams, the Reign are 22-4-1-0 with 108 goals-for and just 61 goals-against.

DIVISION RIVALRY:

The Reign has a 21-19-2-3 all-time record over the Thunder and are off to a 2-1-0-0 lead this season against them. With eight more meetings the rivalry between these teams will certainly grow as the Kelly Cup Playoffs loom and that Division Title is at stake.
