Kane County Cougars News Release

DAVENPORT, Iowa - Saturday night's game at Modern Woodmen Park between the Kane County Cougars and Quad Cities River Bandits was postponed by rain. It will be made up Sunday afternoon at 4 CDT as part of a doubleheader consisting of two seven-inning games.

Mathieu Leblanc-Poirier was the Cougars' scheduled starter Saturday and is expected to start Game 1 in his Cougars debut. Shawn Haviland is the probable starter for Game 2.

The Cougars (1-1, 42-30) and River Bandits (1-1, 31-41) have split the first two games of the four-game set. They wrap up the series with Sunday's doubleheader, and the Cougars are off Monday before they start a four-game series Tuesday night at Elfstrom Stadium against the Peoria Chiefs.
