Puckett Returns to Dragons

Dayton, Ohio-The Dayton Dragons announced the following roster moves today:

Second baseman Cody Puckett has been returned to Dayton from Sarasota of the Florida State League.

Infielder Yen-Wen Kuo has been sent to Billings of the Pioneer League from Dayton.

Right-handed pitcher Josh Ravin has been placed on the seven day disabled list, retroactive to June 26, due to a right elbow strain.

The Dragons roster now stands at 24 players, one below the Midwest League limit.

Puckett was with Sarasota only five days. With Dayton in 2009, Puckett is batting .271 with 11 home runs and 39 runs batted in. He leads the Dragons in both homers and RBI. Puckett also leads all Midwest League second basemen in fielding percentage.

Kuo was batting .174 with three RBI in eight games with Dayton.

Ravin is 3-8 with a 3.67 earned run average in 15 starts for the Dragons. He is expected to miss one start.
