Tincaps Recognize Military July 4

Fort Wayne, IN - The Fort Wayne TinCaps are offering military personnel in the Fort Wayne community a chance to enjoy a game on the team when they take the field Saturday, July 4th at 7:05pm.

"Without games during Memorial Day weekend this year, which is when we've historically paid tribute to the armed forces, we have been looking for an opportunity to show our appreciation to the military personnel in our community," said TinCaps Team President, Mike Nutter. "Once we moved the game time of our July 4th game to 7:05pm and added fireworks, we really wanted to celebrate our country's birthday as well as those that serve and sacrifice to protect our freedom. This is just one small token of our thanks and appreciation."

Interested active and retired personnel can receive their complimentary ticket by visiting the TinCaps Ticket Office located at Parkview Field's south gate during regular ticket office hours. When showing their valid military ID, military personnel will receive a complimentary ticket to the July 4th game. "We look forward to having this opportunity to salute some of the bravest men and women in our community," said Nutter.
