It's the final Prince George Cougars Society Mega 50/50 Jackpot Night of the season, when the Cougars take on the Portland Winterhawks at the CN Centre. The guaranteed jackpot is $15,000! One lucky fan will win BIG! Mega 50/50 jackpot tickets go on sale at 12 pm on March 9th.
There will also be three early bird door prizes throughout the afternoon. The draws take place at 2 pm, 4 pm and 6 pm. So, don't be late!
Several local non-profit agencies will benefit from the United Way Mega 50/50 Jackpot; thus, a larger jackpot makes a larger impact in our community. Charities benefiting include Intersect, PG Hospice, Crisis Line, YMCA, Canadian Mental Health, Northern Brain Injury Group/ PG Brain Injury, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Carney Hill Neighbourhood, and the United Way Community Impact Fund, which financially supported 28 other organizations in Prince George this year.
"The Cougars are committed to being more than just a hockey team, but also an important part of the fabric of what makes Prince George a great place to live. Along with countless community appearances and donations, through our 50/50 Society, the Cougars have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities over the past three and a half years," commented Cougars Vice President of Business, Andy Beesley.
The bigger the crowd, the bigger the Prince George Cougars Society Mega 50/50 Jackpot is, which means more money raised for the United Way of Northern B.C and local non-profit agencies!
Join us on Saturday, March 9th, for the final Prince George Cougars Society Mega 50/50 Jackpot Night of the season, presented by the United Way of Northern B.C. Tickets are on sale now at the TicketsNorth by Treasure Cove Casino box office, or online at www.ticketsnorth.ca.
