Kane County Cougars News Release
The Kane County Cougars organization will host the inaugural Cougars Craft Beer Fest on Saturday afternoon, September 21 from Noon until 4 p.m. at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. Tickets, including special VIP packages are now on sale at kccougars.com, at the Cougars' box office and by calling the Cougars at (630) 232-8811. The 21-and-over event also has a designated driver package with unlimited soda and water as well.
As one of the most unique venues to host a craft beer fest in Chicagoland, both novice and dedicated craft beer enthusiasts will be able to sample a variety of specialty craft beers on the field from numerous vendors. In addition to $40 general admission tickets, a limited quantity of $60 VIP packages will be available and include an early entry hour from Noon until 1 p.m. with specialty craft beers available, a meet and greet with local brewers and a complimentary grilled entrée. A variety of food will be available for purchase as well. A sampling glass will be provided for all attendees.
"We are extremely excited to host the inaugural Cougars Craft Beer Fest this fall," said Cougars General Manager Curtis Haug. "As we've seen with our very own craft beer cave that is open during Cougars games, the popularity of craft beers has soared within the past few years. This event will give attendees a fantastic opportunity to sample some of the best craft beers in a unique location."
