South Bend, IN - Joey Rickard hit his fifth home run of the season as the Bowling Green Hot Rods (4-4, 42-34) fell to the South Bend Silver Hawks (4-4, 49-28) 4-2 on Thursday night at Coveleski Stadium. The Silver Hawks used a pair of solo home runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 2-2 tie in the win. Blake Snell allowed one run in five innings in a no decision, and Leonardo Reginatto stayed hot with two hits.
