
Cougars Take Game One

The Snappers were defeated by the Cougars 11-4 tonight, in the first game of a three game series. After four scoreless innings Kane County jumped out to a 4-0 lead after their half of the fifth inning. Beloit cut into the lead with a run in their half of the inning to make it 4-1. The Cougars hung another four runs in the top of the sixth to increase their lead to 8-1. A Tarrence Patterson two run home run in the bottom of the seventh made it 8-3. Kane County plated one run in the eighth and two more in the ninth to take an 11-3 lead. Beloit added a run in the ninth as they fell 11-4.
Upcoming Schedule: The Snappers and Cougars will play game two of this three game series Tuesday, June 14 at 7:00 pm at Pohlman Field.
