
Cougars Introduce "Meet the Team" Parties

GENEVA, IL - The Kane County Cougars have announced three "Meet the Team" party dates during the 2013 season. Fans can purchase a ticket that provides an opportunity to meet Cougars players and coaches following three pre-selected home dates and enjoy complimentary soft drinks and bottled water inside the Hyundai upper deck level at Fifth Third Bank Ballpark. Cost is $25 and all proceeds will be donated to the Anthony Rizzo Family Foundation. Founded by the Cubs first baseman, the non-profit organization helps raise money for cancer research and provides support to children and their families battling the disease.
Cougars "Meet the Team" party dates will take place on Saturday April 20, Sunday June 2 and Sunday August 11. All three games are at 1 pm. The "Meet the Team" events are scheduled to begin approximately 30 minutes following the game's conclusion, and will last for one hour as fans will have the opportunity to meet and greet Cougars players and coaches. Each event is limited to the first 100 people. A separate ticket is required for fans who are interested in attending that day's game.
