AGAINST THE WEST: The Cougars enter tonight's contest against the Silvertips with a 10-4-0-0 record against Western Conference opponents and are 2-2 against the US Division. The Cougars' four games against US division teams have all been at the CN Centre against the Tri-City Americans and Wenatchee Wild.

CHL TOP TEN: The Cougars were ranked 2nd in the CHL Top 10 - Week 8. This marks the third consecutive week the Cougars have held the number two spot. Since Week 2, the Cats have cracked the CHL's Top Ten Ranking list.

KING KOEHN: It has been a week to remember for veteran forward Koehn Ziemmer. The LA Kings prospect was named the WHL's Player of the Week. The Cougars alternate captain tallied nine points (4G-5A) and a plus-3 rating in four games as Prince George went 3-1-0-0 over that stretch. Last week, Ziemmer signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Los Angeles Kings. Ziemmer heard his name called at the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville by the Kings in the third round, 78th overall. Ziemmer is the first WHL player LA drafted since Jarrett Anderson-Dolan (Spokane) in 2017. The Mayerthorpe, AB native is the first Cougar in franchise history to be selected by the Kings. The soon-to-be 19-year-old played in two pre-season games for the Kings and had one assist in those contests.

THE SUPER ROOKIE: Cougar rookie sensation Terik Parascak has surprised many in 2023-2024. Parascak currently owns 34 points entering tonight's game (21-13-34). Parascak was named the WHL's Rookie of the Month for September/October. Parascak, 17, recorded 29 points (17G-12A) in 14 games to start the season and sits second in WHL scoring behind his teammate Zac Funk, who was named WHL Player of the Month. "It's an honour to win this award," commented Parascak. "It's something that keeps motivating me to get better and hopefully keep producing and most importantly, helping our team win."

ANOTHER SUPER ROOKIE: Cougars' rookie goaltender Joshua Ravensbergen has been stellar this season. The North Vancouver, BC product enters tonight with a 7-1-0-0 record on the season with 1.97 goals against average and a .931 with a league-leading four shutouts.

THE 200 CLUB: With a five-point performance on Friday against Lethbridge, Cougar forward Riley Heidt has collected points in 15 consecutive games. The Minnesota Wild 2nd round pick in 2023 owns 29 points on this streak which consists of eight goals and 21 assists. Heidt's five points put him 9th-all all-time in franchise history with 204. The Saskatoon, SK product sits 3rd all-time in assists with 143. Friday's performance also pushed Heidt to the 200-point plateau. He is just the ninth Cougar in franchise history to hit that milestone.
