PEORIA, Ill. -- Tuesday's game between the Kane County Cougars and the Peoria Chiefs was postponed due to rain. The contest will be made up on Wednesday with a double-header beginning at 5:00 p.m. Both games from Dozer Park in Peoria will be seven-inning contests.
The First Half Western Division Champion Cougars begin their final road trip of the first half with a three-game series in Peoria, followed by a series against the Beloit Snappers. The Cougars' starting pitchers for Wednesday will be Tyler Skulina (4-2, 2.93) and Daury Torrez (5-3, 3.67). The games can be heard on AM 1280 WBIG and kccougars.com.
