Corbeil Traded To San Diego For Garrow

BILOXI, Miss. – Mississippi Sea Wolves general manager and head coach Bob Woods announced today that center Nicolas Corbeil (KOR-bay) has been traded to the San Diego Gulls for defenseman Mike Garrow.

Corbeil, 21, represented Mississippi at the 2005 ECHL All-Star Game, where he registered an assist on January 26. The 5-foot-11 and 185-pound native of Laval, Quebec, Corbeil finishes his Sea Wolves tenure with 13 goals, 39 points and 58 penalty minutes in 53 games. Selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the third round, 88th overall, in 2001, Corbeil attended the 2004 training camp of the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.

Garrow, 29, is in his fifth season of professional hockey after playing parts of the last three seasons with San Diego. The 6-foot-1 and 210-pound Garrow has tallied eight goals, 29 points and 34 penalty minutes in 46 games. A native of Kenora, Ontario, Garrow has appeared in action in the American Hockey League with Cincinnati, Utah and Syracuse.

The Sea Wolves take to the ice at 7:05 p.m. tomorrow against the Pensacola Ice Pilots at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game promotion is Discounted Daiquiri Night, offering $2 off each daiquiri.
