FRESNO, Calif. - Tyler Scott scored the game-winner at 3:16 of overtime as the Bakersfield Condors knocked off the Fresno Falcons, 3-2, before 5,413 at Save Mart Center.

Scott came out of the penalty box to join a Condors rush in the extra session, and after Kevin Truelson's initial shot was stopped, Scott slammed home the loose puck to give the Condors the victory.

The Condors (13-7-2) have now won five of their last six games, while Fresno (12-10-0) has lost three straight games.

Fresno drew first blood at 7:08 of the first period, when Riley Day's screen drive eluded Jamie Hodson. Rob McFeeters and Tyler Kindle were credited with assists on Day's first goal of the year.

The Condors controlled most of the second period, and nearly tied it on the power-play early in the session, but Brett Lutes rebound attempt hit the post and the puck stayed out.

At 12;17 of the period, on another power-play, the Condors did tie it. Rane Carnegie fed Steve Rodberg for a blast from the point, and Mike Hofstrand deflected it past Ryan MacDonald to tie it at one.

At 1:22 of the third period, Fresno regained the lead. Rob McFeeters jammed a rebound past Hodson for a power-play goal, the Falcons first in 28 attempts with the man-advantage.

Bakersfield came back to tie it again at 8:23 on a pretty three man rush. Kevin Asselin came up the left wing, fed Todd Griffith in the middle, who slid it over to Josh Liebenow. Instead of taking a sharp angle shot, Liebenow slid it back in the middle to Asselin, who banged it home.

Notes: The LA Kings have recalled goaltender Yutaka Fukufuji on an emergency basis from the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. He is the second Condors player ever to make it to the NHL. Fukufuji had been called up to Manchester from the Reading Royals, where he was 3-3-0 with a 3.98 goals- against-average and a .898 save-percentage in 10 appearances. With Bakersfield in 2004-05, he went 27-9-5 with a 2.48 goals-against-average and .919 save-percentage. Connor James, a Bakersfield teammate of Fukufuji's that year, was the first Condors player to make it to the NHL, playing two games with the Kings last season.

Overall, the Condors have earned points in nine of their last 12 games (8-3-1). Venedam had his four-game goal-scoring streak and seven-game points-streak snapped. Hodson has won five straight games and is unbeaten in his last eight starts (7-0- 1). Bakersfield has scored at least one power-play goal in 11 straight games and 20 total in that span.
