Ryan Munce Recalled By Manchester

Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL, affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League, today announced that goaltender Ryan Munce (rhymes with 'once') has been recalled by Monarchs. Munce (21) (6'2"/185), a third round pick of the Kings in 2003, has appeared in fourteen games for the Royals this season, going 4 - 6 - 4 with a 3.17 goals against average and a save percentage of .881. It is anticipated that Pat Noecker, the Royals' equipment manager, will serve as the team's emergency back-up goaltender, when the Royals take on the Toledo Storm (7:35 pm) at the Toledo Sports Arena. Royals' game night broadcasts can be heard live on ESPN Radio 1240 am (and on the internet through the Royals' website, www.royalshockey.com), beginning thirty minutes before the opening face-off. Streaming video is also available for $6.00 per game through the B2 Networks, which can be accessed through the Royals' website.
