Condors to Host School Supply Drive Wednesday to Help Olive Knolls Christian School after Recent Fir

Bakersfield, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors, ECHL affiliate of the Minnesota Wild, have announced they will assist Olive Knolls Christian School with a fundraiser of books and school supplies at their game on Wednesday, Mar. 16. The school was recentlydamaged in a fire. The book and supplies drive is sponsored by Wells Fargo.
With the fire destroying multiple classrooms, the school is now in need of school supplies and educational materials. Items such as educational toys, pens, pencils, paper, puzzles, crayons, construction paper, coloring books, and glue markers are among the needed items. If you bring two new or gently used books or unopened school supplies you will receive a $1 ticket into the game.

It is also Condors High School /College ID Night sponsored by La Campesina 92.5. By presenting your High School or College ID you will receive a $1 ticket into the game. Doors open at 6 p.m., puck drops at 7 p.m.
1,500 Pounds of Food Collected!
The Condors would like to thank everyone who donated non-perishable food items to the Condors Canned Food Drive. You helped contribute to a total of 1,500 pounds of food collected on Tuesday, Mar. 8 when Condors defeated the Idaho Steelheads 2-1. Over 21,000 pounds of canned goods have been collected in Condors History. The items were donated to the Golden Empire Gleaners, who distribute food to those in need around the Kern County area.
Get Tickets: The Condors continue their home stand tonight and Saturday, both against the Idaho Steelheads. Tonight is Street Hockey Set Giveaway night, sponsored by Hot 94.1 and Three Way Automotive Group. Saturday is St. Patty's Day Jersey Off Our Backs Raffle and Auction Night, sponsored by McDonald's, and Charlie Sheen Night as well, providing a whole slew of ticket and other specials.
Group tickets are a great way to add to your Condors experience! All you need is 20 family, friends and coworkers to get discounted tickets starting at just $7. Groups get a P.A. Announcement as well as prizes for each group. All members of Lower Level groups also get a Condors hat.
